Renowned spiritual leader and Ramcharitmanas exponent Morari Bapu participated in the centenary celebrations of revered Ramayana narrator Ramkinkarji Maharaj in Ayodhya on Wednesday.
A special event “Yugtulsi Maharaj Shri Ramkinkarji Shat Jayanti Maha Mahotsav” was held in Ayodhya from October 29 to November 1 to mark the birth centenary of Ramkinkarji Maharaj, celebrated across the Ramkatha world as the “Yug Tulsi”.
Addressing the august gathering of saints and spiritual leaders from all over the country, Morari Bapu paid rich tributes to Ramkinkarji Maharaj and expressed his heartfelt reverence for the spiritual leader.
In a moving address, Morari Bapu reminisced his memories of Maharaj, recalling the first time he heard him speak at the Birla Matoshri Bhavan in Mumbai, followed by meetings in Gujarat at Viramgam and Chitrakut. He even had the opportunity to stay with the Maharaj ji in Chitrakut He recounted Maharaj’s exceptional ability to present the Ramayana with a unique style that would leave the listeners mesmerised.
