The clinic marks a significant shift from fragmented treatment models to a holistic, preventive and patient-centric approach, combining medical expertise with structured lifestyle, fitness and mental health interventions to address the rising prevalence of obesity and diabetes.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Arun Raghavan, Founder of Revivo Clinic; Aravind Ashok, Co-founder of The Quad and Founder of Revivo; Dr. T.S. Swaminathan, Former Director, Institute of Radiology, Madras Medical College; Tamizh Kumaran, CEO, Lyca Film Production; Ksheer Vasudha, Director, Navin’s; and V.G. Rajendran, MLA, Tiruvallur Constituency, among others.
Beyond Prescriptions: Treating the Root Cause
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Arun Raghavan, Founder of Revivo Clinic, emphasised the need for a comprehensive strategy in managing lifestyle diseases.
“Lifestyle diseases like obesity and diabetes are complex medical conditions that require both clinical expertise and meaningful lifestyle change. At Revivo, we combine evidence-based medicine with structured nutrition, movement, and behavioral care to treat the root drivers of metabolic dysfunction. Every patient receives medically guided, personalized support delivered with empathy and accountability. Our vision is to move beyond temporary fixes and help people build sustainable health through a system that is scientific, compassionate, and deeply human.”
The clinic’s model integrates diagnostics, physician-led decision-making and supervised lifestyle execution—ensuring continuity of care under one roof.
Bridging Hospitals and Gyms
Highlighting the conceptual framework of the centre, Founder Aravind Ashok explained: “Revivo sits between hospitals and gyms, and fixes what both miss. We integrate diagnostics, medical decisions, and lifestyle execution under one roof, so patients aren’t passed between silos. Treating obesity or diabetes in isolation doesn’t work. Medication without lifestyle fails. Lifestyle without clinical oversight stalls.”
He added: “Revivo is built on integrating both, so patients aren’t guessing, relapsing, or starting over every year.”
A Timely Intervention
With India witnessing a steady rise in obesity and Type 2 diabetes cases—particularly among urban populations—Revivo Clinic aims to provide structured, long-term solutions rather than short-term symptomatic relief. By combining medical science, fitness programming, nutritional planning and behavioural counselling, the clinic seeks to create sustainable metabolic recovery pathways.
The launch signals growing momentum in Tamil Nadu’s preventive healthcare landscape, aligning with broader public health goals of early intervention, patient education and lifestyle-based disease management.
Revivo Clinic’s integrated model represents not merely a new facility—but a new philosophy of care: one that treats the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
