Kalorex Future School, Ghatlodia, witnessed a meaningful convergence of collaboration, creativity, and community partnership during the Parent-Teacher Meeting held on Saturday. As part of this engagement, the school hosted a unique initiative titled “Rise and Shine”, an event dedicated to celebrating and supporting homepreneurs from the parent community.
With a total of 16 stalls showcasing an inspiring variety of home-crafted products from handmade Rakhis and sweets to jewellery and nutritional items, the event offered an encouraging platform for parents pursuing home-based enterprises. It was a commendable step towards fostering school community partnership, while also recognising the talent and entrepreneurial spirit within the parent fraternity.
To further nurture student engagement, the event also featured a book stall, thoughtfully curated to promote reading habits and rekindle a love for literature among students and visitors alike.
In a special gesture that highlighted the school’s commitment to sustainability, each participating homepreneur was presented with a sapling by Seema Mishra, the Principal. This symbolic act aimed to promote environmental responsibility and long-term community well-being.
The event was warmly received by all and stood out as a celebration of empowerment, enterprise, and collective growth, true to the spirit of Kalorex Future School’s vision of nurturing collaborative and future-ready individuals.
