Riverside School’s promising athlete Anika Todi has once again brought glory to her school and Ahmedabad, winning two silver medals — in shot put and javelin throw — at the ISSO National Games: Athletics Championship 2025-26, held in Hyderabad.
This marks Anika’s third consecutive medal-winning performance at the ISSO Nationals in the Under-17 category, reflecting her unwavering consistency and dedication to athletics.
“Despite the rigorous demands of being an Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level student, my passion for athletics helps me stay focused and disciplined in my studies,” shared Anika, who continues to prove that academic excellence and sporting success can go hand in hand.
Organised by the International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO) and recognised by both the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and the International School Sport Federation (ISF), the championship is regarded as India’s premier platform for students from international curricula — including IB, Cambridge, German, and American boards.
The national meet saw the participation of over 800 athletes from 90 top schools across India, competing fiercely in sprints, relays, distance races, jumps, and throws across the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls.
With her shining performance, Anika Todi continues to inspire young athletes, proving that talent, perseverance, and balance can propel dreams to national heights.
