The Rotary Club of Bhavnagar Vibrant organized an insightful Teacher’s Training Session at Maharanishree Nandkuvarba Mahila College, focusing on the theme “Joy of Teaching – Mindfulness Education.”
The session, conducted by Dr Mahendrasinh Parmar, brought together around 50 teachers who actively participated in the interactive workshop. Dr. Parmar emphasized how mindfulness can transform classrooms by reducing stress, nurturing joyful teaching, and fostering stronger teacher-student connections. He also shared simple, practical techniques that educators can integrate into their daily routines to enhance learning experiences.
The program witnessed the presence of Club President Rtn. Namrita Chadha, Club Secretary Rtn. Sunita Shah, along with members Rtn. Krishna Shah, Rtn. Kashmira Kothari, and Rtn. Ami Shah, who appreciated the overwhelming response from participants.
The initiative was warmly received and underscored Rotary’s ongoing commitment to empowering teachers with modern learning approaches and strengthening the education ecosystem in Bhavnagar.
