Catering to the demand of bike aficianados in Gujarat, Royal Enfield launched the highly anticipated all-new Classic 350 in Ahmedabad and Gujarat on Monday with a price strating at Rs 1.84 lakh (Ex-showroom Ahmedabad and Gujarat). In 12 years and more than three million motorcycles later, the Classic has built a legacy of its own, and the new Classic 350 is all set to take this legacy ahead, a senior official of the company, said.
The iconic and timeless Classic has now been reimagined and enhanced with a smooth and refined ride experience, to meet modern aspirations. The new motorcycle is available for booking and test rides across all 8 Royal Enfield stores in Ahmedabad and 46 stores in Gujarat. Test rides and booking for the all-new Classic 350 is available via the Royal Enfield App, on the company website, www.royalenfield.com, and at the nearest Royal Enfield Store.
Ever since its launch in 2008, the Classic has emerged as a motorcycle that has redefined the middleweight motorcycling space and spawned the revival of Royal Enfield, kickstarting its journey to lead the segment globally
Reminiscing about the Classic’s success through the years, and commenting on the launch, B Govindarajan, Executive Director, Royal Enfield, said, “The Classic has been a huge catalyst in growing and expanding the middleweight segment in India, while also being instrumental in unlocking a thriving sub-culture of leisure riding among young and experienced riders across the world.
“The all-new Classic 350 carries forward this legacy, and embodies the familiar timeless design language, with a completely modern and reimagined ride experience. Speaking about the all-new Classic 350 in Ahmedabad, Puneet Sood, National Business Head (North & West India and Nepal), Royal Enfield, said “Royal Enfield has continued to capture significant mindshare amongst motorcycle enthusiasts in Ahmedabad and across Gujarat. It was first launched in New Delhi on September 1. Bookings and test rides for all variants of the new Classic 350 have started across dealerships in India, except the Redditch series which will be available in stores starting October 2021.
To a query on delivery schedule, Sood said, “We take 15 to 30 days for delivery after the booking. And the company is trying its best to bring it down soon. However, global shortage of the semiconductors have hit hard the automobile industries and India is no exception. We hope once this issue is resolved production will pick up momentum.”
When asked about the company’s network expansion plans in Gujarat, he said the company would take appropriate decision according to the needs. He also said as of now there is no plan to set up production unit in Gujarat.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is available in 5 new, exciting variants with 11 colourways, beginning with the Redditch series, the Halcyon series, the Classic Signals, the Dark series and the Classic Chrome.
