- Delhi Police conducts passing out parade of 118th batch of Recruit Constables

The Rashtriya Raksha University, an Institution of National Importance, on Wednesday announced it has awarded blockchain-based digital Diploma Certificates to Delhi Police sub-inspectors and constables.

“357 Police Sub-Inspectors and 4,870 Constables of Delhi Police are recognised with academic Post-Graduate Diploma in Police Administration and Investigation and Diploma in Police Administration and Investigation respectively. They were awarded blockchain-based digital Diploma Certificates,” says an RRU release.
Delhi Police conducted the passing out parade of 118th batch of Recruit Constables at Delhi Police academy in Jharoda Kalan. On this occasion, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora took the salute and inspected the parade as chief guest.
A total of 4,870 newly recruited constables including 1,790 female constables who completed their training at Delhi Police Academy took the oath of duty and loyalty during this program. During the event, passed-out constables were also awarded blockchain-based digital Diploma Certificates in Police Administration & Investigation by Rashtriya Raksha University.
Nityanand Rai, Minister of State (Home), Government of India, as the Chief Guest, blessed the Police Sub-Inspectors on December 16, 2022 and Sanjay Arora, IPS, Delhi Police Commissioner, as the Chief Guest witnessed the passing out ceremony of constables and blessed them.
RRU, as part of Suraksha Karma-Yogi mission, through affiliation, accreditation and certification recognises women and men in uniform from central armed police forces, armed forces, central police organisations and state police organisations affiliated Institutions with degree, post-graduate diploma and diploma as per the recommendation of the joint academic and accreditation committees.
