Highlighting the potential of Maldives in the aviation market, he stated how under the “current trends” scenario, the air transport market of Maldives is forecasted to grow by 154% in the next 20 years. However, despite its potential, terrorism and internal threats continue to threaten the safety of the nation. As scope of civil aviation is continuously increasing, so are the challenges to ensure safety of the passengers. There is a need to construct a balanced and robust security system to create an optimistic environment and achieve the Zero Error Margin.
