To contribute to the realisation of employment of youth and provide high standards of education in all fields of national security and policing – police science, cyber security, computer science, behavioural sciences, private and corporate security, artificial intelligence and machine learning, physical sports and education, tourism and policing, various languages, NCC, RRU will begin its education and skill-based programs at its transit campus in Narbal (Budgam) Jammu and Kashmir.
During a courtesy call to Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, Dr Bimal N Patel, Vice-Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University, briefed the Chief Minister on training, research, education, extension and innovation programs and activities that will be made available to all aspiring to skill, upskill and reskill in the various fields of national security and policing. A particular emphasis was made for the youth and students for opportunities in the field of private, industrial and corporate security; tourism and policing; cyber security and computer science; and behavioral sciences, including psychology studies. RRU Kashmir Campus in Narbal (Budgam) will initially offer, certificate, diploma and post-graduate diploma programs in these areas, from July 2025. The Chief Minister appreciated the RRU efforts and assured full support.
RRU delegation also met with Education Minister Mme Sakina Itoo, who lauded RRU efforts and was pleased to underline that RRU programs offer special opportunities for women who want to serve the nation in the field of national security and policing. Her enthusiasm and aspirations to get high standards educational program for the youth was full of personal commitment and mission.

The Chief Minister accepted the warm invitation to visit Gujarat and RRU and suggested that he would be pleased to interact with campus faculty and staff first, who will start offering high standards education opportunities for the youth.
