In a landmark move towards sustainable industrial growth, RSWM Ltd, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has joined hands with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) to source 60 MW of renewable energy for its manufacturing operations across Rajasthan. This strategic partnership marks a major milestone in RSWM’s journey toward energy transition and environmental stewardship.
Under this agreement, AESL will oversee the entire green power value chain for RSWM’s expanding energy needs. RSWM has invested ₹60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme with a renewable power generator to secure an annual supply of 31.53 crore units of green energy. This initiative will significantly enhance RSWM’s sustainability profile—raising its renewable energy share from 33% to 70%, nearly double India’s national clean energy average.
“This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and reinforce our position as a forward-looking industrial leader,” said Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of RSWM Ltd. “By sourcing 70% of our total energy from renewable sources—well above India’s clean energy mix—we continue to set industry benchmarks in responsible energy transition.”
Expressing confidence in the collaboration, Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, said:
“We are delighted to partner with RSWM on this landmark initiative that showcases how sustainability can drive industrial competitiveness. This collaboration reflects the scalability of renewable energy in powering India’s manufacturing future while ensuring long-term environmental and economic gains.”
Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM Ltd, added, “Our ₹60 crore equity investment in this project represents a milestone in RSWM’s sustainability journey. By integrating hybrid renewable power, we are not only reducing our carbon footprint but also enhancing energy security, operational efficiency, and resilience.”
With a deep-rooted focus on renewable energy adoption, circular economy practices, and efficient water use, RSWM continues to pioneer responsible manufacturing in India’s textile sector.
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, through its Commercial & Industrial (C&I) vertical, delivers customized, reliable, and competitively priced green energy solutions to large-scale power consumers. The company aims to expand its C&I portfolio to 7,000 MW over the next five years, accelerating India’s industrial decarbonization journey.
