Sagehill Creative Pathway School has officially opened as Chennai’s first fully residential Cambridge (IGCSE) school, marking a significant milestone in the city’s education landscape. Promoted by the Neelakesav Education and Research Trust, the school introduces a focused vision of purposeful learning, structured growth, and an environment where space, safety and movement are intentionally designed to support confident, independent learners.
The campus has been built around a clear pedagogical intent. Adaptable learning studios and movement zones encourage inquiry, focus and expression, while open landscapes help students balance academic engagement with physical and emotional well-being. The academic framework blends Cambridge IGCSE methods with the International Creative Pathway Program, strengthening conceptual clarity, communication skills and disciplined, long-term skill development.
- Purpose-built campus brings structure, safety and creative inquiry under one holistic learning model
- Residential environment blends discipline, independence and nurturing pastoral care
- Integrates Cambridge IGCSE with the International Creative Pathway Program for conceptual and expressive growth
- Offers families structured, outcome-based visibility into every stage of a child’s development
Its residential model forms the core of the Sagehill experience. Purpose-designed boarding houses integrate defined routines, pastoral care, curated nutrition and a calm environment—creating a supportive ecosystem that builds independence with guidance, and confidence with comfort.
Speaking at the launch, Sundeep Vasu, Director, Sagehill Creative Pathway School, said: “Sagehill has been envisioned to meet the realities of modern childhood and modern parenting. Our residential model brings structure, clarity and continuity into learning, supported by a rhythm that keeps families meaningfully connected. The focus is to create an environment that encourages calm thinking, steady growth and the courage to lead.”
Sagehill’s engagement model provides families with structured, outcome-focused visibility into each student’s learning journey. Every interaction is purposeful, ensuring communication remains centred on progress, clarity and development. This creates a seamless continuity between school and home, keeping each child’s growth steady and aligned.
Located on the outskirts of Chennai, the upcoming Sagehill campus integrates residential blocks, learning studios, movement zones and open green spaces into a single, thoughtfully engineered learning environment. The school will welcome its first academic batch in the upcoming year.
