Sameera Group, pioneers in real estate biz, including developing industrial parks, hospitality, transport and education plunged into Metaverse on Saturday. Ahead of Festival of Lights, the group launched ‘Sammeta Universe’, a first of its kind virtual township in Chennai.
The virtual township ‘Sammeta Universe’, the brainchild of D Senthil Velan, CEO, Summeta Universe Pvt Ltd was launched at 11.11 am by Sameera Group’s Director M Jaikumar, Managing Director, Sameera Land Developers Pvt Ltd at a glittering event held in Cosmopolitan Club in Chennai in the presence of the luminaries from the supporting technological companies.

Explaining the project D Senthil Velan said, “ ‘Sammeta Universe’ will introduce Virtual Office Space, Entertainment Zone, Virtual Shopping Mall, Virtual Healthcare and Virtual Sports Zone and lot more in pipeline with the tagline of ‘The future is here’. In 2024, Sameera is set to unveil approximately 10 million square feet of residential plots.”
He further said, “When it comes to technology, India is at the forefront of development. We are no longer just hearing about the Western world’s stories; we are creating our own at Sammeta Universe, a virtual township. This township will encompass virtual areas like Mount Road, ECR, OMR, T.
