Aapnu Amdavadis are in for a cultural fiesta this week-end. Mark your calendars and scribble it on the back of your hand, Samraga – The Festival of Indian Classical Music and Nrityalaya Dance Studio brings a one-day Festival called ‘Sangaath’. The first half of ‘Sangaath’ will be showcasing performances by the dancers of Nrityalaya followed by musical extravaganza where some of the finest musicians from the Indian classical field will showcase Jugalbandi of Hindustani and Carnatic classical music.
‘Sangaath’ is a collaboration with Nrityalaya and Samraga and in its first year, they present students of Nrityalaya and the founder Jashoda Patel showcasing Kathak. The second session will be a Jugalbandi of Hindustani and Carnatic music featuring Hiren Chate (Tabla), Manas Kumar (Violin), Abhay Nayampally (Guitar), and Viveick Rajagopalan (Mridangam).
On 3rd of April, follow these steps to experience the extravaganza of ‘Sangaath’. First, reach The Forum Banquet at Bopal – Shela road, purchase the passes from the venue, sanitize yourself, and follow the COVID safety guild lines, and then after going inside the Venue, sit back and enjoy the mesmerizing performances planned by Samraga and Nrityalaya.
