In view of the coronavirus surge in Ahmedabad, Sarathy Foundation, an NGO, has distributed ukala, or kadhah (ayurvedic concoction), a potion made by brewing local herbs, berries and spices as immunity booster.
It was distributed among the residents of Abjibapa Society and its neighbourhoods by strictly following the coronavirus SOPs. All beneficiaries were made aware of preventive healthcare, the organizers said.
This is not a cure for coronavirus but an immunity booster to combat any kind of flu, they added.
