What’s in a name? A lot, says producers of ‘Common Man’. To avoid duplication, and show honest professionalism, they have rechristened the film as ‘Naan Mirugamai Mara’.
Following Vijay Antony’s hit film ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’, ‘Common Man’ is produced by TD Rajah and DR Sanjay Kumar of Chendur Film International. Sasikumar is playing the lead role in this film directed by ‘Kazhugu’ director Satyasiva.
Haripriya plays the female lead and Vikranth plays a vital role. The music is being composed by Ghibran. The film is being helmed in a completely new genre, unlike Sasikumar’s usual style of films.
Even though the title ‘Common Man’ was announced at the start of filming, it was only later that the information came to light that another company had pre-imposed the same title for their film. This created a situation where the title ‘Common Man’ could not be used even though it was apt for this story.
Meanwhile, the production company has officially announced the new title of the film as ‘Naan Mirugamai Mara’.
The first look and title teaser of the film has already been released and it has been well received by the fans. The post production of the film is going on at a brisk pace.
