Sathyabama Brand Ambassador and Lady Super star Nayanthara along with Dr. MariaZeena Johnson, Chancellor of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology recently launched ‘Madhugai’, a health and hygiene project for government higher secondary school students as part of its socio-community welfare project.

This was launched at its annual event, Cultural Fest 2023, to mark Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology’s 35 years of academic excellence.

At this event, Dr Mariazeena Johnson, Chancellor, Dr Marie Johnson, President expressed wishes to the students and also motivated them. Vice Presidents Maria Bernadette Tamilarasi, J Arul Selvan and Maria Catherine Jayapriya also joined them in extending their best wishes to the students.

Chancellor DrMariazaeena Johnson announced Mrs Nayanathara, Lady Superstar of Indian Cinema as the “Sathyabama Brand Ambassador 2023”.
After this, Mrs Nayanthara launched “Madhugai – The Strength” project, the brainchild of Chancellor Dr Mariazeena Johnson.
“This project is dedicated to improve and protect the health and hygiene of Govt Higher Secondary School Girl students. Under this project, kits comprising hygiene products and high calorie nutrients will be distributed free of cost to the needy girl students. In the first phase, 15 government schools, 5 villages adopted by the Satyabama Institute Chancellor will be the beneficiaries,” said a release.
A stunning laser show presenting 35 years of Sathyabama Journey was an awestruck moment for all the students and staff. In this context, the staff serving the institution for more than three decades were felicitated by the Chancellor and most revered President of the institution, the release added.
