The documentary film-maker in the USA and Malaysia Narendran Murthy is all set to make his directorial debut in Kollywood. The flick is bankrolled by Illayaraja Sekar under the banner Sekar G Productions. Narendran Murthy has come up with a story revolving around dark comedy genre.
Vetri, who is known for films like, ‘Jiivi’ and ‘C/O Kaadhal’ and ‘Parking’ fame Prarthana play the lead roles.
The untitled movie has Sathyaraj, Vetri, MS Bhaskar, Kovai Sarala, Sachu, Prarthana, Airaa in prominent roles. NS Uthaya Kumar known for his works in ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’ and ‘Kurangu Bommai’ is the cinematographer for the film.
“In this dark comedy, the story takes place in one night where four murders occur in four different houses each occupied by Vetri, Sathyaraj, MS Bhaskar and a businessman – at the same time in the same apartment. The crux of the story is how these four people get rid of the bodies outside the apartment,” says executive producer S Senthil Kumar.
Music is done by Jerard Felix and editing by Ramar. Ramar has earlier worked in Asuran, Vadachennai and Viduthalai movies. Creative Producer-Noor and Bala. The movie has kick started with official pooja and shooting is set to begin soon.
