To create more awareness on the righteousness among the masses, Satpath Foundation has recently organized a quiz contest which saw the participation of more than 10,000 across Gujarat. Among them 1,008 will be awarded for performing well in the quiz contest. The Grand Finale of Satpatha Prasthanmanch will be held from Friday to Sunday – September 23 to 25- at Chaitanyadham, Ahmedabad, the organisers announced here on Wednesday.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel will confer the awards to the winners of the grand finalists on Sunday.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, one of the organisers and International scholar Dr Sanjeevkumar Godha, said, ”The Jain community loves all living beings and believes in non-violence. It has always been known for positive works in the country and the world. To commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of Acharyakalpa Pandit Todermalji, the ideal scholar of the entire Jain community, the Satpath Foundation has been spreading his messages. For the welfare of the common man, Panditji composed many good scriptures against hypocrisy, superstition, evil etc. throughout his life. Acharyakalpa Pandit Todarmalji’s contribution to the cultivation of Sruta, endowed with extraordinary talent for non-violence determination, is unparalleled.”
“A self-study was found to be the best means to give a special dimension to Panditji Sahib’s 300th birth anniversary. Therefore, to further develop the self-study attitude, this “Global Seventh Path Question Forum” was organized on a large scale, in which about 10,000 people participated by answering the 1,008 questions and made the program a success. We believe that this contest will imbibe good habits to the younger generation and put a check on crime and bad habits,” Godha added.
Elaborating on the prize selection process, Pandit Vipin Jain Shahstri said, “A total of 1,008 prizes will be awarded under this programme. After having organised a successful online quiz competition, top 200 contestants will be invited from the Satpath Prasaranmanch Grand Finale. They will be subjected to a KBC like theme based quiz. Among them 33 persons will be shortlisted for the first, second, third, next top 10, next top 20 etc. positions and will be awarded with gold and silver coins, respectively.”
