With the film gearing up for the worldwide theatrical release on April 21, the cast and crew members interacted with the press and media fraternity sharing the experience of working in this film.
Music Director Chakravarthy said, “I thank the producer and director for this opportunity. Since it’s a period film, it was a challenging process to compose music.”
Actress Subathra said, “I thank everyone for their wonderful and valuable reception for the trailer. The film has come out very well, and I request everyone to support and make this film successful. Thank You.”
Producer KJ Ganesh said, “We have made this film with trust in each member of the team. The film’s trailer has got a good response, and I request you all to support this film.”
Director Dharani Rasendran said, “When I narrated the script to the producer, he told me that he likes the passion in me. He immediately asked about my team. The entire team is my heart and soul. Editor Mahendran and Music Director Chakravarthy have been the strongest pillars without whom, the film would have not been possible. The producers asked us to complete the first schedule, and then only approved to proceed ahead with the other schedules. It was a big challenge to recreate the Tamil linguistics, and backdrops of a story that is set in the time period 1300 years ago. Since the linguistics of that time period wouldn’t be familiar to contemporary audiences, many scared us stating that there are chances that the film might not connect with them. However, the producer gave us confidence stating that cinema is an art, and the audience will celebrate it. I thank him for his great gesture and support. The team has been a great support in shaping up this project. 25 assistant directors have worked on this film. The film isn’t a competition to Ponniyin Selvan, but it will be a special movie in the Tamil film industry. Thank you!”
Sakthivelan B, Sakthi Film Factory said, “Yaathisai is a pride to Sakthi Film Factory. We have released many promising films from our banner, and this film is going to be a prominent one. More than 30 members instantly called me after watching the film’s trailer. I am glad that the trailer has garnered tremendous reception from everyone. The film has lots of grandeur more than the trailer. The film has a riveting screenplay more than in Hollywood war-based films. I am confident that it will be a special movie for every audience.”
Actor Vijay Seyon said, “It’s your duty to take Yaathisai movie forward and find it a greater reach among the audiences. This is our most esteemed and reputable creation. I thank both the producer and director for giving me this opportunity. Everyone in the team has strived and worked hard. I request you all to support and make this film successful.”
