CHENNAI, JAN 21
In a heart-melting celebration of childhood joy and collective spirit, Arun Icecreams, one of India’s most loved ice cream brands, has scooped a place in history by setting a Guinness World Record in Chennai—bringing together 4,008 children to form the Longest Chain of People Licking Ice Cream.

The city turned into a festival of smiles as children, holding hands and sharing laughter, relished butterscotch and chocolate-flavoured Arun Jolly Train, made with real milk and cream. For one full minute, the young participants consumed ice cream continuously while forming a seamless human chain—each child offering ice cream to the one on their right—creating a perfectly coordinated and joyous spectacle.
