To commensurate the 48th Raising Day of Indian Coast Guard which will be observed on 1st February 2024, the Regional Headquarters (North-West) at Gandhinagar has been organising series of events as part of the celebrations.
Various programs are being organised by the Headquarters and its units across the region, which are aligned to national objectives of patriotism, environment and other relevant public issues.
Over the last two days, the District Headquarters at Porbander and Okha have engaged young minds in various schools by holding events like Seminars, Drawing Competitions and interschool quizzes. The events promoted awareness on ICG operations, capabilities and sensitised the young minds on the security requirements and instilled patriotic feelings and aspiration to join the noble Armed Forces towards service to nation.
