‘Shaurya Sandhya’, a grand cultural evening organised as a solemn tribute to the valour, sacrifice and unwavering commitment of the Indian Army’s Bravehearts, was held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, as part of the Southern Command Investiture Ceremony 2026.

The prestigious ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, reflecting the deep bond between the Armed Forces and the people they serve. The event was attended by Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command, along with several senior military and civil dignitaries.

The evening underscored the powerful synergy of Diplomacy, Economy, Defence and Technology—key drivers shaping Bharat’s national strength and global standing.
