Shott, an urban family entertainment centre (FEC), currently operating in Surat and Ahmedabad, unveiled its aggressive PAN India and overseas expansion plans here on Sunday.
Company’s Chief Operating Officer Sumeet Shah was here to celebrate the 71st Republic Day at its Sindhu Bhavan campus.
Charting the company’s aggressive expansion plans for the next five years, Sumeet Shah said, “We want to bridge the gap between demand and supply of family entertainment in urban India. We plan to open 15 centres across the country by 2025 targeting all the A list & tier 1 cities. Our Andheri centre in Mumbai and Bengaluru centre will come up this year. Initially, we will open Singapore and Dubai centres as part of our overseas expansion plan and then gradually cover other countries. We started the firm as passionate entrepreneurs under the vision of Rishi Shah – MD and Founder of Shott.”
When asked about the sources of funding for the expansion plans, Shah said that it would be met from the internal accruals and its cost Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 per square foot for setting up a new gaming centre. He further added that at present the company was having 40 corporate clients in Ahmedabad and 60 in Surat. Further, the company enjoys 65-70 % of market share in Ahmedabad and 55-60% in Surat.
As part of the company’s CSR initiative, a drug awareness campaign was held under the leadership of Harsh Rameshbhai Sanghvi, Majura MLA in Surat on Republic Day, Sunday, Shah revealed.
Ranjith Pillai, Regional Head, Sales and Operations, said, “We provide an entertainment solution for all- from a 3-year-old kid to 70-year-old grandparent for 4-5 hours. It is a unique gaming and entertainment facility, including food and beverages. The gaming facility that caters to the needs of a complete family through its attractions and multi-cuisine restaurant, our offerings such as go-karts, virtual cricket, VIP bowling lanes, rope course, arcade games, bumper cars, redemption games, kids city (soft play for kids), virtual reality, and simulators makes it a relaxation and entertainment hub.”
Pillai added that nearly 800 people visit this Ahmedabad facility on weekdays, nearly 2,000 on week-ends and over 4,000 during vacations. In urban areas, children need to play in outdoor areas to stay fit. Keeping this in mind, we offer a concession to schools and educational institutions.
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated at Shott – Ahmedabad in the presence of Smeet Shah.
The crowd was treated with the muscle display of Shott, displaying their strength diversity. Nachiket Kumar – Manager – Corporate Sales and Khushali Vyas headed the execution for the event.
