Hanuman Jayanti, the celebration of Lord Hanuman’s birth, will be observed with great devotion on Saturday at Shri Nagarvel Hanuman Temple located on Amraiwadi-Rakhial Road in Ahmedabad, said Mahant Shri 1008 Shri Ranganathacharyaji Maharaj.
It is a time when devotees show their affection to the god of strength and wisdom, Shri Ranganathacharyaji Maharaj added.
“Preparations for Hanuman Janmotsav are in full swing at Shri Nagarvel Hanuman Temple. It will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp by the devotees. On the occasion of Shri Hanuman Janmotsav on Saturday, 12.04.2025, Chaitra Sud Poonam, various religious programs have been organized at Shri Nagarvel Hanuman Temple from morning to evening,” the temple statement said.
According to the festival schedule, the inauguration aarti and triyanjan of Shri Hanuman Dada will be performed at 6:30 am and at 8.30 am, the flag hoisting will be done, from 9 am to noon, the recitation of Sundar Kand by Shri Alok Pujariji will be held. The aarti of Shri Hanuman Janmotsav will be performed along with Shringar Darshan and Chhapan Bhog (Annakoot) at noon.
Mahaprasad distribution will be held from 12.30 to 1 pm, Bhandara from 1 to 4 pm, Maruti Mahayagya has been organized from 5 to 7 pm and a grand Mahaaarti of 11000 lamps of Shri Nagarvel Hanuman Dada has been organized at 8.30 pm.
