To mark the first anniversary of the establishment of the Shri Sankat Mochan Mahavir Hanuman Temple a grand 2-day celebration will be observed on Friday and Saturday at Rancharda in Ahmedabad, said Dr. Praveen Garg, the founder of the temple.

“The temple was established and consecrated on 23rd August 2024 with the blessings of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. This temple is gradually developing into a prosperous and devotional level with the infinite grace and invaluable blessings of Shri Neem Karoli Maharaj. This temple is the fourth temple in India to have a sleeping idol of Hanumanji and has become a center of attraction for devotees,” a temple release said.
“On this anniversary occasion, a continuous recitation of the Ramcharitmanas will be conducted by Pandit Vinodji and his team for 24 hours from 5 pm on Friday, August 22, and Ram Janmabhoomi will be celebrated at 9 pm and Ram Vivah will be held at 11 am. On Saturday, August 23, the celebration will commence at 9:30 am and conclude at 6:30 pm,” Dr Garg added.
He said that this temple offers a special spiritual experience to the devotees and more and more lively cultural and religious programs will continue to be organized at this place in the future.
A large crowd of devotees and locals will participate in this event and celebrate this holy time together.
