The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) announced that a trading window was opened for the Shriram Capital TNPL franchisees between April 12 and 18 and it reported two trades, says a release by R S Ramasaamy, honorary secretary.
“Pursuant to the Shriram Capital TNPL Player Regulations 2022, a trading window was opened for the Franchisees between 12th April and 18th April 2022. There were two trades that took place. 1. Nellai Royal Kings traded Senthil Nathan S to Seicham Madurai Panthers for Shajahan M on a barter trade. 2. Idream Tiruppur Thamizhan bought out Aniruda S from Ruby Trichy Warriors,” the release added.
- The 2022 edition of the Shriram Capital TNPL will begin by 3rd week of June and end by end of July 2022.
New registration of players to participate in the draft for Shriram Capital TNPL 2022 is open from 21st April 2022 to 30th April 2022 at www.tnca.cricket.
All submissions have to be done only electronically through an email. Players who have been released from the respective teams have to submit fresh application.
It is envisaged that an auction for determining slots among the franchisees will be held on 5th May 2022 and the player draft to fill in the remaining slots will happen on 14th May 2022.
The 2022 edition of the Shriram Capital TNPL will begin by 3rd week of June and end by end of July 2022.
