Growth story with a difference
In the past few years, SIDBI has been celebrating this day by picking a theme. This year a 60-minute programme was organized across branch offices/resident representative offices of the bank where the speakers discussed about their growth story/life trajectory, including the challenges/problems they faced in their respective businesses/enterprises, mechanism which they adopted to overcome those challenges/ problems, things that worked or didn’t work for them etc., with the participants/stakeholders so as to motivate them to pursue their goal. These speakers were development partners/existing branch customers who have achieved significant success or were proactively responsive/emerged stronger during COVID-19 times or impacted underserved/unserved sections of the society/Non-Governmental Organisations/Institutions of repute/role models who have emerged as national or institutional heroes. The objective was to benefit the concerned stakeholders/participants by providing them the experiential learning, motivation and the necessary impetus/push to realize their entrepreneurial dream.

On foundation day, SIDBI released an e-booklet that captures the inspirational Swavalambis / Homepreneurs who have stood the ground of entrepreneurship amidst challenges.
