As part of his social responsibility, leading comedian and upcoming hero of Kollywood Yogi Babu launched an exclusive ambulance tracking app The mSirenPilot called ‘UDANE Global’ at the quaternary multi-specialty healthcare centre – Gleneagles Global Health City (GGHC), Perumbakkam in Chennai on Sunday.
The actor also flagged off emergency ambulance vehicles at the hospital in the presence of Dr Sriram R, HOD & Senior Consultant – Department of Accident & Emergency of GGHC and Bhaskar Reddy, Head – Corporate Relations and other officials.
The mobile App was developed for Gleneagles Global Health City by MSiren – The Smart Siren Platform developed by Small Acts Technologies to strengthen the Emergency Ambulance Network.
The mSirenPilot feature enables traffic police to track the ambulance and pave for creating green corridor for the faster movement of the ambulance. This advanced technology has the potential to assist hospitals and traffic police to monitor the movement of ambulances while transporting patients. mSirenPilot also offers a free mobile app powered by the world’s first “Smart Siren Technology”, which enables road drivers and traffic police to proactively create a Green Corridor and assist emergency ambulances in moving faster through traffic.

⇑ The actor also gave away Good Samaritan Awards to traffic cops, ambulance drivers, and social workers on this occasion.
Addressing at the launch event, Dr Sriram said, “The time delay in treating critical patients worsens the outcome of the treatment. Golden hour is the first 60 minutes in a patient’s life where the patient can be saved if the right treatment is provided. Our emergency team can efficiently track and coordinate with the ambulance to improve the treatment provided.”

Anantharaman Parameswaran of mSiren Platform – Small Acts Technologies said the mobile app was developed in such a way that the driver of the ambulance carrying an emergency patient can give a common alert to all the ongoing vehicles, thus creating a green corridor to reach the nearby hospital as quick as possible to save the patient. The application could further be fine-tuned based on the feedback from the users. The app can be downloaded from the Google playstore, he added.
