ALLEN Career Institute Pvt. Ltd. hosted its signature academnic celebration, SOPAN 2025, honouring Chennai’s finest achievers in engineering, medicine, and national-level Olympiads. Held in two packed sessions at the Anna Centenary Library, the event brought together top-performing students, proud parents, educators, and an eminent panel of dignitaries.
SOPAN, ALLEN’s annual felicitation platform, celebrates the success of students who secure admissions into India’s premier institutes and excel in competitive assessments. This year’s edition witnessed a remarkable spectrum of achievements across the nation’s most prestigious institutions.

- 121 Olympiad Stars from Classes VI–x recognised for national excellence

A total of 51 students secured admission to IITs, 33 to NITs, 18 to IIIT, 3 to IISER, 4 to IIST, 5 to BITS, 49 to VIT, 178 to Government Medical Colleges, 3 to AIIMS, 17 to Madras Medical College, and 1 each to AFMC and JIPMER. In addition, the institute honoured 121 Olympiad achievers from Classes VI to X for their outstanding academic excellence at the national level.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of an impressive line-up of dignitaries, including Col. Tapan Singh, Hon’ble Justice A. Kulasekaran, Dr. S. Armstrong, B. Ilangovan (IRAS), Group Captain Sanjay Desai, K. Shankar (IPS), Mithilesh Kumar, Dr. R. M. Anjana, along with principals of ten leading Chennai schools, reflecting the academic significance of the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Mahesh Yadav, Vice President – ALLEN South Centers, said, “Entering the seventh year of ALLEN Chennai, we now have a tested benchmark that inspires us to aim higher and surpass our own performance. I congratulate the brilliant talent of Chennai for their stupendous success. The trust placed in us by the parents of this city is exemplary, and I sincerely express my gratitude. We are committed to setting a new benchmark in the coming academic session.”
Sharing his thoughts, Santosh Singh, Head – Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, added, “Time and again, the student fraternity of Chennai has proven that they are among the best. Their consistent success is deeply inspiring. I congratulate all achievers and extend heartfelt thanks to the parents for their faith in us. As Mr. Mahesh shared, our entire team will continue striving for excellence in the forthcoming academic session.”
The celebration concluded with the distribution of awards, followed by warm and insightful interactions among achievers, parents, dignitaries, and ALLEN faculty—marking yet another memorable milestone for Chennai’s academic community.
