Lieutenant General JS Nain, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command visited the Headquarters of Air Defence Brigade, Vadodara on Wednesday.

During his visit, the Army Commander was briefed by Commander, Air Defence Brigade on the operational readiness and important training and Station issues. The General Officer inspected various training facilities and security set up at Vadodara Military Station.

A demonstration on ‘Engagement of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System’ by Air Defence Weapon System was conducted during the visit which was appreciated by the visiting officer.

The General Officer emphasised upon the adoption of innovative methods to counter Remotely Piloted Aircraft System threat. He also commended the upgraded training infrastructure at Brigade Training Node.
