Southern Railway General Manager John Thomas on Monday paid floral tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on his 65th death anniversary which is observed as “Mahaparinirvan Diwas”.
To mark the Mahaparinirvan Diwas, a solemn function was organized at the Southern Railway Headquarters in Chennai.
Speaking at the function, the General Manager highlighted the illustrious contribution of Dr BR Ambedkar to the making of our Constitution and development of social harmony in our country. He also exuded the participants to follow the teachings of Dr Ambedkar.
BG Mallya, Additional General Manager, Senior railway officers, staff and Members of recognized trade Unions also paid homage to the great leader.
