Southern Railway on Thursday announced that it will attach extra coaches in some of the special trains to facilitate waitlisted passengers during the festival season. It will also run train No. 05905 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Dibrugarh One-Way Special Train, a release said
The following trains will be attached extra sleeper class coaches to facilitate waitlisted passengers during the festival season. This will come into effect from Thursday, November 12, the release said.
Train No. 06181 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai Weekly special train will be attached four sleeper class coaches. Train No. 06723 Chennai Egmore – Kollam special train – 1. Train No. 06063 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Bi-Weekly special train – 6. Train No. 02633 / 02634 Chennai Egmore – Kanniyakumari – Chennai Egmore special trains – 1.
Train No. 02693 / 02694 Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin – Chennai special trains will be attached one sleeper class coach. Train No. 02631 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli special train – 1. Train No. 02661 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai special train will be attached one sleeper class coach.
Train No. 02605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi special train will be attached one second class sitting chair car. Train No. 06866 Thanjavur – Chennai Egmore special train will be attached one sleeper class coach.
One way reserved Special Train for Dibrugarh
The Souther Railway will run train No. 05905 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Dibrugarh One-Way Special Train
With the composition of Two AC 3-Tier Coaches, Eight Sleeper Class Coaches, Nine General Second Class Coaches and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 05905 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Dibrugarh One-Way special train will leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 16.20 hrs on 13th November, 2020 and reach Dibrugarh at 07.00 hrs on 16th November, 2020.
It will have stoppages at Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Raiamundrv, Samalkot, Duvada, Simachalam North, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijili, Midnapore, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Behar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bonqaiqaon, Goalpara Town, Guwahati, Jagi Road, Hojai, Lumding, Diphu, Dimapur, furcating, Mariani and New Tinsukia.
Reservations for the above One-Way special train will open at 16.30 hrs on Thursday, November 12.
