To mark the World Environment Day, spiritual leader and preacher Pujya Morari Bapu on Saturday planted five trees during the ongoing Ramkatha in Chitrakoot, says a release.
Pujya Bapu created awareness among the general public about the importance of the environment and inspired everyone by planting five mango trees at Chitrakoot Dham, Madhya Pradesh.
After planting the trees, Pujya Bapu said, “World Environment Day is a day of importance for trees. We hope to increase the greenery of the country and the earth. I urge everyone to plant trees and if nothing else, water the Tulsi plants.”
While congratulating the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on his birthday, Bapu said, “I welcome the initiative of Yogi Adityanath of developing Ramvan in an area of over 35-40 acres where plants of Ramyug will be nurtured.”
