HOSUR, MARCH 17

Learn from your failures and take them as stepping stones to achieve your goals, said C. Jerome Vinith, President of the Indian Volleyball Federation here on Monday.

Participating at the Sports Day celebrations of Adhiyamaan Education and Research Institute (AERI) as Chief Guest, Vinith said, “Everyone in the world is unique and have special talents. One should identify their latent talents and strive hard to push it forward. But at the same time, learn to avail the opportunities when they knock at your doors.”

Wherever you go, try to learn new things every day, as what you learnt is a handful and what you hadn’t learnt is an ocean, he added.

Adhiyaman Engineering College Principal Dr. G. Ranganath introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering.

On behalf of the sports department, Dr. N. Stalin read out the annual report.

Students who excelled in national- and regional-level sports competitions were honoured with prizes and medals.

Students enthralled the audience with colourful cultural events. The event was attended by the faculty members and students from Adhiyamaan Group of Institutions, says a release.
