SRM Prime Hospital, Ramapuram, one of Chennai’s leading multispecialty hospitals, has inaugurated the SRM Prime Institute of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, featuring South India’s most advanced endoscopy unit for comprehensive digestive care across all age groups.
The institute was inaugurated by Tamil film actor-director R. Parthiban, in the presence of P. Led by a team of experienced gastroenterologists, the newly launched institute is equipped with next-generation systems such as the Arietta 750 and EP-8000 endoscopic ultrasound platforms with Olympus X1 technology, enabling high-resolution imaging and precision-guided, minimally invasive procedures. The introduction of the Slim Therapeutic Endoscope EG-840TP further enhances manoeuvrability, ensuring accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment, and faster recovery.
