In a key initiative underscoring the Indian Air Force’s continued focus on preparedness and professionalism, Headquarters Training Command (TC), Indian Air Force, conducted a Commanders’ Conclave on 23 December 2025. The conclave served as a high-level forum to review and strengthen training, maintenance, and administrative processes across the command.

The conference was chaired by Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, and aimed at addressing emerging challenges and charting a clear roadmap for the future. The discussions reflected the IAF’s emphasis on aligning training outcomes with evolving operational requirements.

During the conclave, senior branch heads from HQ Training Command presented detailed assessments of their respective functional areas, highlighting initiatives undertaken to overcome challenges and achieve training objectives. These presentations provided a holistic view of ongoing reforms and best practices being implemented across units and establishments.
Emphasising the central role of training in building combat-ready forces, the AOC-in-C reiterated that robust, forward-looking training systems are vital to enhancing the Indian Air Force’s operational capabilities. He also commended commanders for initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of air warriors and their families at various bases, recognising welfare as a key enabler of morale and effectiveness.
The Commanders’ Conclave offered a valuable platform for constructive dialogue, experience-sharing, and collective decision-making, enabling commanders to exchange best practices and jointly drive excellence in training and administration.
Such engagements reaffirm the Indian Air Force’s commitment to continuous improvement, institutional learning, and mission readiness, ensuring that its personnel remain prepared to meet present and future challenges in the air and beyond.
