Students were exhorted the importance of investing in oneself and utilizing the resources and privileges that they have by educationists and stalwarts of various industries. They were speaking at the launch of Pratham Youth Community here on Saturday, World Mental Health Day.
Gujarat Director of Higher Education M Nagarajan exhorted students the importance of investing in oneself and utilizing the resources and privileges that they have. The session was also addressed by Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO, iHub. He delivered an enlightening session on aspiration, ability, and attitude in Entrepreneurship.
Industry experts including Sahil Shah, Founder, Hungrito and Netsavvies, and Parasharan Chari, Director, MedKart, delivered thrilling sessions on brand credibility and being a dynamic student on the campus, respectively.
Dr. Haresh Chaturvedi, Vice-President HR, Reliance Industries – Petrochemicals also graced the launch event. He delivered am amazing address advising youngsters to invest time efficiently and focus on building knowledge along with being prepared for the future with a focus on adaptability through his excellent storytelling narratives.
Ahmedabad-based Pratham Youth Community (PYC) is a vertical of Pratham Notebook, which was successfully launched on a digital platform with a footfall of 1000+ students. It is incubated under SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Policy), Gujarat.
Neel Panchal, 22, Founder of Pratham Notebook and Pratham Youth Community motivated the students with personal life experiences and advised students that they will always be a version of their surroundings. He also enlightened the students about the pros of joining PYC. The event was hosted by Kalash Shah, Chief Marketing Officer at PYC. Overall the launch event was filled with enormous knowledge, learning, laughter, and a new opportunity for participants to hone their skills for a better tomorrow.
The Pratham Youth Community intends to impart practical knowledge in the form of hands-on training and seminars by industry experts. One of the major aims of PYC is to curb the gap between student skills and industry expectations. Students who are a part of the community will be exposed to internship and project opportunities across every domain including the corporate sectors. It will be a platform for the youth to interact with like-minded students from across the nation. Students will have access to counselors and mentors who can help them resolve their doubts based on the niche of their interest. It is one of its kind platforms for students to earn, learn, and grow.
Manan Desai, renowned comedian and founder of the Comedy Factor shared his journey with the audience which turned out to be a session filled with laughter, fun, and learning. Manan shared his experience on Mental Health and assured participants that opting for therapy whenever needed is absolutely normal and most recommended. Madhish Parikh – President, of Elixr Foundation, and Founder, Invincible NGO, and Meet Jatakia also addressed the participants regarding keeping a positive attitude in life by grabbing ever possible opportunity at hand.
