Quoting the inspirational examples of the former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, Tamil Nadu Director of School Education S. Kannappan exhorted the students to dream, dream, and dream big to achieve their desired goal in life.
Addressing at the 146th annual day celebrations of the Government Hobart Muslim Girls Higher Secondary School in Chennai on Saturday, Dr. Kannappan called upon the students to develop self-confidence, so that that they could achieve their desired goal after school education.
He also exhorted the students to follow the sayings of Swamy Vivekanandar “Arise, awake, and stop not till their goal is reached’’, and it will be possible only when they dream about their future.
Dr. Kannappan appreciated the Parent-Teachers’ Association (PTA) for its contribution to improving the ambiance and infrastructure facilities of the school.
While addressing the students, Chennai District Chief Education Officer A. Anitha asked the students to be obedient to their parents and teachers, as it will help them to come up in their life.

Earlier, Dr. Kannappan dedicated the renovated building of the Primary Block and gave away prizes to the previous year toppers in Plus 2 and Class X board examinations.
Among those present in the anniversary celebrations was PTA President Imitiaz Fathima Wadood.
School headmistress S. Kanmani welcomed the gathering and read out the annual report. While Sumathy, PG Assistant proposed the vote of thanks.
