Aarihant Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Institute, affiliated with Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, recently organised an academic visit for its students to the Government Ayurveda Hospital and Panchakarma Centre in Kadi. Some 99 students from the institute participated in the academic visit, which was facilitated by the Health Science Department of the institute.
Dr Sonali Ladhi, Professor and head, Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga at the institute along with Dr Tejal Ganvit, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga, facilitated the visit for students.
The event was organised as part of the academic tour for second year BAMS students of the institute. Students were divided into four groups and were welcomed by the medical officer of the Swasthavritta and Yoga department at the Government Ayurveda Hospital and Panchakarma Centre in Kadi. Students learnt about hospital infrastructure, OPD, IPD, Panchakarma Section, Ayurvedic Dispensary, Staff pattern, among others.
