Indian bowlers revived Team India’s hunt to equalise the two-match Test series with a superlative show on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
While Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav were going full throttle with their bowling, Ravindra Jadeja made sure to contribute his part on the field with two superb catches. The best of the lot from Jadeja came to send Neil Wagner packing after Mohammed Shami caught him napping with a fiery short delivery.
Even though Wagner managed to pull the short delivery by Shami, Jadeja plucked a stunning catch out of nowhere to send the southpaw back to the hut. Jadeja literally flew to take a one-handed reverse cup to complete Wagner’s wicket much to the delight of his teammates as the Indian players celebrated with sheer passion on the field.
