Subashree Anantkrishnan, the 1987 batch IRS Officer has assumed charge as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Wednesday.
She was promoted and transferred to Chennai from Bengaluru. Before assuming charge here as Principal CCIT, she worked in various capacities and departments of Income Tax at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Bengaluru, says a release issued by P. Dhivahar, Addl Commissioner of Income-tax, (HQ) Admin and TPS, Ayakar Bhavan, Chennai said on Wednesday.
