Sudhir Kumar Jannawar, Chief General Manager (CGM), has taken the charge of Andhra Pradesh Regional Office of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on June 12, 2020, a release said.
Sudhir Kumar has 37 years of experience in development banking. He worked in various States in different capacities and headed the Department of Storage and Marketing at NABARD’s Head Office at Mumbai, till recently. He also had a stint in the capacity-building of Bankers. He has grassroots level banking experience before joining NABARD by virtue of his experience in a Gramin Bank.
During his long career, he had geographical exposure across the country by working in the States of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
Giving fillip to the State Government’s efforts to create required Agricultural infrastructure, technology adoption in agriculture, boost rural entrepreneurship, nurturing Farmers’ Producers Organisations, increasing the farmers’ income, etc., are some of his priorities, the release added.
