Tamil actor-director Sundar C has well established himself as one of the versatile directors in churning out wholesome family entertainer. Sundar had directed ‘Aranmanai’ and ‘Aranmanai 2’, both horror-comedy films catering to all children to all age groups, proved to be blockbusters. After their success, directed by Sundar C, ‘Aranmanai 3’ has a unique storyline that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.
Set in a palace amidst a village backdrop in Gujarat, the lead actors who encounter supernatural experiences, are determined to find what is the reason behind the presence of such entities in the palace.
This film features Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah and Sakshi Agarwal in lead roles and has Yogi Babu and late actor ‘Chinna Kalaivanar’ Vivekh in important roles. The star cast include Antriya, Manobala, Sambath, Asokan, Vela Ramamurthy, Nalinit and Vichchu Viswanath.
Director Sundar has played a vital character in this family entertainer. It will be a Dasara treat for fun-loving Tamil fans, as the film to hit the screens on October 14 across the globe.
The film has been produced by Khushbu under the banner of Avni Cinemax , with cinematography by UK Senthil Kumar, music by C. Sathya, and film editing by Fenny Oliver.
Speaking with media ahead of the theatretical release of the film, lead actor Arya said, “Sundar C Sir has invited me to act in this film. On getting the call, I met him and said, ‘I don’t know how to act in a horror film.’ He replied that it would be easy and he would take care of it. I was very happy to act with Vivek Sir in this film for 40 days. They were unforgettable moments as I was one of his ardent fans. All cast have done extremely well in this film. Sathya has scored music for all the songs of the film. I express my gratitude to Red Giant Udayandhi for releasing the film. It will set to enthral all. I am very happy as the film will be streamed in theatres.”
Lead actress Raashi Khanna said, “I convey my gratitude to Sundar C and Khushbu for giving me an opportunity to play the stellar role. Arya is a hard worker. He was simultaneously acting in Aranmanai 3 as well as Sarbatta Paramparai. I am eagerly awiting to see the film in theatres,”
“This is my 25th film to score music. Though the director had asked me to complete the background music in 20 days, it took a longer time owing to COVID-induced lockdown. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise in composing the best-ever music. This film has more emotional scenes than the earlier avatars,” said music director Sathya.
According to actor Manobala, the film’s shooting was held in Gujarat for 40 days. We used to leave for shooting at 7 am and would return around 10 pm. but never felt its hangovers.
As an icing on the cake, director Sundar said, “I am very happy to meet the media after a long time. But for the support of media and the fans Arnmanai’s earlier two versions could not have succeeded well. People used to say that we have filmed Aranmanai 3 without any effort. This is not so. Producing this kind of film to cater to the taste of fans is very difficult. The film should stand out in all respects, including the content and delivery. Since both versions of Aranmanai were box office hits producing the third version immediately was not possible. All that required were good storyline, cast and technical crew to give shape to it.”
Apart from acting, Arya has rendered a helping hand in business too, lauded Sundar.
Actresses have had a greater role in versions of Aranmanai films, This one is not an exception. Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah and Sakshi AgarwaL have played in major roles, added Sundar.
“Aranmanai was released by Udayanidhi. Now, he is releasing this film in a grand scale as he was the only person to see the film. He had opined that Aranmanai would be a big hit and also praised this film too. All my films are commercial ones. My only wish is that children, ladies and the general public ought to forget their worries and laugh out heartily. The film has been produced with a big budget and in grand scale” Sundar added.
