Besides cancer survivors, the gesture has been extended to entire doctors, hospital staff and their family members. All the PVR Screens in Chennai will screen special shows on Sunday.
The initiative has been taken to reach out a message to the masses that “Cancer is no longer a dreaded disease and can be cured completely. With early detection, targeted therapy, monoclonal antibodies, and radiation treatment, the outcome of cancer patients has improved manifolds.’’
Billroth Hospitals have been at the forefront of exemplary care for over three decades and treated over 10 K cancer patients.
Pink October is a month of awareness for breast cancer, and now the Managing Director, Dr. Rajesh Jeganathan, has come forward with a touching idea to boost the spirits of those who have suffered and gained victory over cancer.
Dr. Jagannathan’s approach emulates the values of Billroth with compassion, commitment, and humanism. The concern that he shows towards his employees as well as patients actually resonates with the hospital’s philosophy of rendering quality healthcare, Dr Deepa and her team.
