- He was particularly impressed by the Suzuki RV90 bike that he rode in the 1983 film ‘Paayum Puli,’ the red vintage MG TB car that featured in the ‘Adhiradee’ song and the statue of Sivaji Ganesan that was used in his 2007 film ‘Sivaji – The Boss.’
- The museum also has a special section dedicated to actor Kamal Haasan, who made his debut as a child artist in AVM’s ‘Kalathur Kannamma.’

As an icing on the cake, one among India’s oldest, biggest production houses – AVM Productions’ ‘AVM Heritage Museum’ was recently inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin.

Superstar Rajinikanth was in a nostalgic mood as he visited the AVM Heritage Museum on Wednesday. The museum has a collection of rare audio and video equipment, vehicles, props and memorabilia from some of the iconic Tamil movies produced by AVM.
Rajinikanth, who has acted in several AVM movies such as ‘Murattu Kaalai,’ and ‘Sivaji – The Boss,’ was greeted by Producer M Saravanan and MS Guhan. The duo took a tour of the museum and reminisced about his experiences working with AVM. He was particularly impressed by the Suzuki RV90 bike that he rode in the 1983 film ‘Paayum Puli,’ the red vintage MG TB car that featured in the ‘Adhiradee’ song and the statue of Sivaji Ganesan that was used in his 2007 film ‘Sivaji – The Boss.’

Kamal Haasan was present at the inauguration ceremony along with other dignitaries such as DMK MP T R Baalu, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudy, director S P Muthuraman, veteran actor Sivakumar and lyricist Vairamuthu. The museum displays some of the memorable scenes and songs from Kamal Haasan’s films with AVM and also ‘Mundhanai Mudichu, Samsaram Athu Minsaram’ and ‘Yejaman.’
