The cricketing spotlight shifts firmly to Surat as the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) — India’s pioneering T10 tennis-ball cricket tournament — brings its much-anticipated Season 3 to one of Gujarat’s most passionate sporting cities. Known for its high-intensity matches, celebration of grassroots talent and electrifying fan engagement, ISPL Season 3 is set to deliver a month-long cricket carnival at the iconic Lalbhai Contractor Stadium.
The tournament will run from January 9 to February 6, featuring 44 fast-paced matches, as the league continues its mission of taking competitive, accessible cricket closer to fans while providing a powerful platform for India’s emerging street-cricket stars.
ISPL Arrives in Surat: City Set to Host a Sporting Spectacle
Marking the league’s arrival in the city, a press conference was held today in Surat, attended by Suraj Samat, League Commissioner and Core Committee member, Dr. Naimesh K. Desai, Secretary, Surat District Cricket Association, and Dipak Chauhan, President – Operations, ISPL. The speakers underlined Surat’s growing stature as a host city and its deep-rooted cricketing culture.
ISPL Season 3 will be staged entirely at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium, transforming the venue into a hub of non-stop T10 action, music, entertainment and fan engagement.
Eight Teams, One Trophy: Star Power Meets Street Talent
The season will feature eight dynamic franchises, blending celebrity ownership with raw, competitive cricketing talent:

Speaking at the press conference, Suraj Samat, League Commissioner and Core Committee member, ISPL, said: “Surat is a city with a strong sporting culture and an enthusiastic fan base, making it a natural fit for ISPL Season 3. Tickets for ISPL Season 3 are available online on BookMyShow, with prices starting at just ₹99, ensuring access for fans across age groups. Offline ticket sales are also underway, with the box office operational daily from 12 PM at Gate No. 1 of the stadium. Tickets will be issued as day passes, allowing entry to all matches scheduled on the chosen day.
The league continues to be guided by its Core Committee comprising Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar, Minal Amol Kale and Suraj Samat, ensuring strategic leadership as ISPL scales new heights.
The season will kick off with a marquee opening clash between Majhi Mumbai and Srinagar Ke Veer, preceded by a spectacular opening ceremony from 5:30 PM onwards, setting the tone for a thrilling season.
Further boosting its commitment to grassroots excellence, ISPL has announced a ₹6 crore prize pool. The champions will take home ₹2 crore, the runners-up ₹1 crore, while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive a brand-new Porsche 911 — one of the most coveted individual awards in Indian sport.
