As part of the celebrations of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will perform over the skies of Vadodara, to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the IAF on Saturday.
The Air Show by Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team is scheduled at Parade Ground, Air Force Station Vadodara (Darjipura) between 03:00 pm and 04:30 pm on Saturday.

The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team was formed in 1996. The team has since performed numerous demonstrations usually with nine aircraft.

Presently, the Hawk Mk-132 aircraft is part of the SKAT. The aim of the aerobatic display is to showcase the professionalism and skill of the Indian Air Force pilots as well as instil a sense of patriotism in the youth of the country.
