Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd., the flagship incubator of the globally diversified Adani Portfolio, has introduced two Inter-Terminal Electric Shuttle Buses (e-buses) for the movement of passengers between Terminals 1 and 2. These e-buses are designed to offer passengers a comfortable, eco-friendly, and seamless experience as they travel between terminals. This free shuttle service will run every 30 minutes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except between midnight and 3 am and 11 am and 3 pm, when it will run every hour.
Each shuttle features a 2×2 seating arrangement that ensures ample legroom and comfort for passengers, including dedicated space and an automated ramp for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM). The buses also feature pneumatic dual doors with finger protection system, allowing for smooth and safe boarding and alighting.
For added comfort, the shuttles are air conditioned, have climate control and an advanced bacterial filtration and air sanitising system to provide a clean, safe, and pleasant journey. Passengers can also enjoy Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the ride. Additionally, a 24-inch screen onboard, accompanied by premium sound, will enable the display of relevant announcements and travel-related information. A digital clock is also available inside the buses.

This EV shuttle bus service will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20 Tons of CO2 and fossil fuel usage by approximately 7,500 litres over one year.
