South Western Air Command Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal Sandeep Singh visited the frontline Air Force Bases at Naliya and Bhuj in Gujarat on Thursday. He was received by respective base Commanders, says a Defence release.
એરમાર્શલે તમામ કર્મીઓને તેમની પરિચાલન તૈયારીઓ વધારવા માટે અને #કોવિડ19 મહામારી સામે લડવા માટે તમામ પગલાં લેવા માટે સખત પરિશ્રમ કરવાનો અનુરોધ કર્યો હતો.

The AOC-in-C reviewed the operational preparedness of these IAF bases. He was briefed about the prevailing security scenario in the area. He visited various operational units and appreciated the role played by these critical Air Force bases in guarding the skies of the nation.
The Air Marshal also awarded trophies to the Units which were adjudged best for their performances in various categories under South Western Air Command.
During the course of the visit, the Air Marshal also reviewed the COVID-19 pandemic measures adopted by Naliya and Bhuj air bases. The Air Marshal urged the personnel to work hard to continue enhancing their operational readiness and to take all measures to fight the current COVID-19 pandemic. He appreciated the support being given by these bases to the civil authorities towards managing the pandemic.
