Air Marshal SK Ghotia, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command (SWAC) visited Air Force Station in Vadodara for three days from Monday to Wednesday, April 5 to 7. He was accompanied by Nirmala Ghotia, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). They were received by Air Commodore PVS Narayana, Air Officer Commanding of the base and Dipali Narayana, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local), says a Defence release.
Air Mshl interacted with personnel of Stn & underlined need for dynamic approach towards achievement of organizational goals & motivated all personnel to uphold glorious traditions of Air Force. The AOC-in-C was presented with a ‘Guard of Honour’ on his arrival. The
Air Marshal was briefed about the current operational readiness and prevailing security scenario of the Station. He inspected various operational installations of the base and complimented the Station for maintaining a high degree of preparedness, the release added.
During the course of the visit, the Air Marshal also interacted with personnel of the Station. He underlined the need for a dynamic approach towards achievement of organizational goals and motivated the personnel to uphold the glorious traditions of the Air Force. He also urged all personnel to take necessary precautions against the ongoing pandemic situation.
